Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri gives injury update on Ronaldo

Juventus travel to Sardegna to face Cagliari in a mid-week round of Serie A.  Ahead of the game, bianconeri’s manager Massimiliano Allegri gave an update on the status of Cristiano Ronaldo. ”We hope to have Cristiano Ronaldo for the Ajax match. He’s feeling a lot better, we have nine days until Ajax and we’ll have time to evaluate him. We have to be careful with everything and consider the risks,” said Allegri. The Juventus superstar suffered the knock while on international duty. Ronaldo was withdrawn after 30 minutes of Portugal's Euro 2020 qualifying match against Serbia last Monday, which ended as a 1-1 draw. The 34-year-old, however, has been keeping busy in the gym, and also kept fans up-to-date on social media.
