Jurgen Klopp's blunt reply when asked if Liverpool will throw away title lead

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has laughed off suggestions that history against the Reds finally breaking their title hoodoo. “I was asked the other day if we can lose it from this position. It’s just bulls**t,” he said. “We’ve collected so many points and it’s a new record for the club so let’s stay on that path and see where it takes us. We have to be focused. I’ve heard many times now that when you’re top at Christmas you win the title, but only Liverpool won’t! “It’s all bulls**t. What does it mean? It’s a different team, a different time. It’s not interesting. And if the opposite was true and Liverpool went on to become champions in those previous seasons, would I think now, halfway through the s­eason, that the job is done? Of course not.”
