Jurgen Klopp to decide Timo Werner's future amid Liverpool interest

Jurgen Klopp is reportedly the one that will decide the future of RB Leipzig star Timo Werner, as speculation continues to link him with a move to Liverpool. The 23-year-old forward has had an excellent season in the Bundesliga, with scoring 21 goals in 23 appearances, he has also netted four times in the Champions League, including in last week's 1-0 win over Tottenham. Werner is most likely to leave the German club this summer, as he has a £50m release clause in his contract, a fee which many elite clubs will no doubt be willing to pay. As Sky Sports report, Werner's move will depend on whether Klopp decides he wants the player and also whether he can convince him he will play on a regular basis, as there are Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino at the Reds squad. So, It remains to be seen whether Klopp believes it is worth splashing out £50m when he already has so many options going forward, and if he does he must also promise Werner he will become a key man in the side. Last week, talking about Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp, Werner said: "There's one of the best managers in the world with Jurgen Klopp, and he is also German.  "Many things suggest that I would maybe fit in (at Liverpool) very well with my playing style. But I don't think about that at the moment because we have so much to do with Leipzig." Source- Mirror
