Jurgen Klopp tells reporters to go to Everton if they want any transfer stories and refuses to comment on Coutinho’s future

In the Premier League era, only Manchester United have won the title in three consecutive seasons. In 2019-20, Manchester City could match their local rivals. Liverpool get the season underway on Friday, August 9 against promoted club Norwich City in a match which will see two German managers – Jurgen Klopp and Daniel Farke – go head-to-head. Ahead of the game, the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has faced the press. Liverpool were said to be one of a number of clubs that were offered the chance to sign Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho. But Klopp refused to discuss the Brazilian during his press conference. "No answer, I don't make big comments on these things," he said. He also told reporters to take a short journey to Everton if they want any transfer stories today, ending any suggestion that Liverpool will add to their squad before the transfer window closed. "And it's not really likely we will do (any business) - if you want more excitement go to Everton!" Klopp added.
