Jurgen Klopp has opened up on the latest situation regarding the potential signings until the end of August.
Liverpool are currently facing an injury crisis at the club, with eleven players now being out of action. As a result, the Reds would need new arrivals to keep the team in form for the new challenges.
The summer transfer window is coming to its end, meaning Liverpool have a few days to complete any fresh transfer to Anfield.
"Are we after a midfielder? Ish...closer we get to last minute...more like [they don't]. I couldn't [give you a name]. It's difficult because for sure there a few who are right but there are diff issues, at clubs who don't want to sell, that's how it is," Klopp said in the press conference ahead of facing Newcastle United.
"There's still time but when it's over, whether someone signs or not, I am really happy as it's over and we can just focus on the squad we have. Face the situations we have together. Our fans are active on social media so they can stop doing that. We have a good football team," the manager added.
