Jurgen Klopp reveals why he didn't start Diogo Jota for Liverpool against Wolves

Jurgen Klopp has explained why he didn't include Diogo Jota in his starting line up against Wolves, claiming he didn't want the attacker to be targeted by them. Reds celebrated another win, beating the rivals 4 - 0, while Jota was brought to the pitch late on, spending the most part of the game on the bench. And speaking about his decision, Klopp told Amazon Prime: “I just didn’t want to have that he’s that target. “He can watch the game, get a feeling for what it’s like to play against Wolves and not with them.” Jota has established himself as one of the key players at Anfield, since joining the Premier League champions from Wolves during the summer transfer window. Klopp's latest decision of not playing the 24-year-old turned out to be a right one as the Reds still managed to keep the clean sheet and get three points from the clash.
