Jurgen Klopp has revealed why he substituted Joel Matip in their Carabao Cup win over Arsenal on Thursday. The Reds celebrated a 2-0 victory over the Gunners as Diogo Jota scored both goals, meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold provided the assists for both goals. Klopp's side reached the final and will face Chelsea at Wembley on February 27. During the game, when the second-half started, Joel Matip was subbed off as Ibrahima Konate came to replace him. "We thought something was not completely 100% right. We had Ibou and Gomez on the bench so we made the change," Klopp said during a press conference ahead of the Crystal Palace clash. The Reds will face Palace on Sunday, January 23.
