Jurgen Klopp on similarities with Diego Simeone ahead of Liverpool vs Atletico Madrid

Liverpool are preparing to play an away Champions League last-16 first leg game against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, February 18. Ahead of the game, the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has spoken out on Atletico boss Diego Simeone. “If somebody knows how to play for a result it’s Atletico and Mr Simeone whom I respect a lot,” said Klopp. “My goodness. Both of us, we tried a lot and didn’t win often (trophies with our teams) but we still tried. And I like that. “He is so competitive. Wow! We actually have a good relationship but I’m really sure he will forget that on the sidelines because he is too animated!”  Klopp's side are currently unbeaten in the Premier League and are leading the league table with 76 points, while Simeone's side are 4th with 40 points in the La Liga table. source - Mirror
