Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has provided an update on the fitness of midfielder Naby Keita and defender Joel Matip following their 1-1 draw with West Brom on Sunday.
The Reds hosted Sam Allardyce's side on Sunday and opened the score at the 12th minute as Sadio Mane scored. However, Mane's goal was canceled out as Semi Ajayi scored the equalizer for West Brom at the 82nd minute.
Keita missed the game with a muscle problem, while Matip was forced off with an injury during the second-half.
Speaking at his post-match press conference, Klopp said: "He [Keita] felt a muscle again.
"I don’t know exactly how long [it will be], but he was not ready for today and not for Wednesday, I think. We will see."
When asked about Matip's injury, Klopp said: "Joel told me he felt something in his adductor and that’s obviously not too good.
"I am not sure how serious it is now, but it was serious enough that he had to leave the pitch.
"The rest of the information I will get tomorrow."
