Jurgen Klopp has hailed Alisson Becker following his 'massive' performance against West Ham on October 19.
Liverpool hosted the Hammers in Premier League's midweek matchday at Anfield where the ground owners celebrated a narrow 1-0 victory after Darwin Nunez found the net in the 22nd minute of the clash.
The Brazilian goalkeeper saved two points for the Reds after putting on another masterclass two games in a row.
Against Manchester City last week, Alisson's long kick straight up the pitch to Salah's foot gave the Merseysiders' important three points.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the 30-year-old made an 'outstanding' penalty save, chasing Jarrod Bowen's shot to secure his side's victory.
Speaking in his post-match conference, the German manager was full of praise towards his number one.
“It was an outstanding penalty save,” Klopp told the BBC.
“A really well-taken penalty, right in the corner, and I had no idea how Ali did that.
“We were a little concerned he wasn’t on the line to be honest with you, nowadays you never know if you can celebrate a penalty save or not but he did that right. It was very important in that moment just before half time.”
Following the victory, Liverpool moved to seventh in the domestic league with 16 points and an 11-point difference to the leader Arsenal.
