Jurgen Klopp considers changes V Fulham and reveals what Liverpool must do for season to be judged a success

Liverpool captain Jordan Handerson and fellow midfielder Naby Keita are both available as Liverpool welcome Fulham to Anfield at midday on Sunday. Xherdan Shaqiri will also come into contention having been left at home for the Champions League trip to Red Star Belgrade in an attempt to reduce local hostilities. Only Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains on the treatment table among players in the middle of the park and Klopp admitted the availability of Henderson and Keita leaves him with tough decisions to make. Klopp said: "It's good to have them back and it's probably the first time that all midfield players, apart from Ox, are available. "It's another thing to do, making decisions about who starts with who and stuff like that. It's all about fitness levels and form, shape and then we will see." Meanwhile, Klopp believes the expectation placed upon Liverpool following their finest ever start to a Premier League season means only becoming champions will qualify as a success. "The season so far-wise, points-wise in the Premier League, has been really successful," the German said. "But it doesn't really feel like that because there are two reasons in comparison with last year: free-flowing football in a few games and Man City and maybe Chelsea and a few others play a very good season as well. It feels a bit like this season can only be a success if we become champions this year.” Klopp feels Liverpool’s season will only be judged a success if they win the Premier League. “It feels like this season will only be a success from the questions I am asked if we become champions,” he said. “This is in a season when our competitors are the champions from last year, the champions from two years ago, a refreshed Arsenal, a more-experienced Tottenham, Man United and all that stuff. “That’s a really tough job. It’s no problem and we go for everything. We are really ambitious. Whatever we can get, we want to take. But because we were in the Champions League Final last season and the new signings, it sounds that automatically we should win the Champions League or the Premier League. “But the other teams do not sleep. They make their transfers and improve in different ways. We win a game and we have to say sorry because we don’t win it in the City way.” Klopp also insists Liverpool are in good shape, despite conceding a late equaliser at Arsenal and losing to Red Star Belgrade in their last two games. “Things can happen like on Tuesday,” he said. “They happened in the past and they can happen in the future. In general, the shape is good of the team. They have played a lot of really good games. “I know a lot of people maybe compare a normal Premier League game we win with the best game of last season at home to Roma until they scored their two goals. “You cannot compare that. First and foremost we have to admit that a lot of things are better than last time at late October, early November. “But the spectacular football didn’t happen. That’s the reason why - I don’t know how many points we had then - but we could have had more. “Ok, we lost the last game, but in the games, before it was absolutely clear. It’s all good, we can do better and that’s always the case. But we have to enjoy our football as well because it has all so far been pretty successful.”
