Jose Mourinho will target Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves if he retakes manager position at Real Madrid, as reports claim.
The Portuguese manager hasn’t led a team since leaving Manchester United in December 2018.
Mourinho has been heavily linked with a comeback to Real Madrid, as there are suggestions Zinedine Zidane could lose his job as a head coach.
As El Desmarque claims, the 56-year-old will attempt to bring Neves to the Bernabeu if he does actually replace Zidane, and Tottenham's Christian Eriksen and Red Bull Salzburg's Erling Haaland would also be transfer targets.
Neves has played for Wolves since unexpectedly joining the club from Porto in 2017, helping them guarantee a return to the Premier League.
The Portugal international has made 16 appearances in all competitions for Nuno Espirito Santo's side, this season so far, scoring twice and providing one assist.
