John McGinn sends message to Dean Smith after Aston Villa sacking

John McGinn has sent a message to Dean Smith after the manager was sacked by Aston Villa. The club announced their decision of parting company with the 50-year-old on Sunday after his three-year spell at Villa Park. McGinn took to Twitter to react to the manager's sacking. He wrote: "Hard to find the right words to sum up what the gaffer has done for the club and me personally the last few years. A top coach and an even better guy. Thanks gaffer and good luck!" accompanied by purple heart.
