Joachim Low offers injury update on Manchester City's Leroy Sane

Germany national team manager Joachim Low has revealed he is happy with Leroy Sane's recovery as he plots his squad for Euro 2020. Sane was brought to 2018 World Cup squad, that were knocked out in the group stage. The Manchester City winger was culled out of the final 23, though being named as the PFA Young Player of the Year. Following the national team's disappointment in Russia, Sane returned to the squad, later being sidelined due to knee ligament damage. The 24-year-old's return date is still unclear, with the winger just started training again with the Citizens. Low is pleased with the player's rehabilitation process. Speaking on the case, he told Goal: "Regarding the Euros, I hope my national players will stay in form and clear of injuries. Leroy Sane and Niklas Süle will get all the time they need following their severe knee injuries and we are happy, they're progressing well."
