Jesse Lingard reveals his connection with West Ham goes back almost 20 years

Jesse Lingard joined West ham on loan from Manchester United in the January transfer window. Since making his move, Lingard has been having an impressive season with the Hammers as he has netted 9 goals and provided 4 assists in 10 appearances. While being on national duty with England, the 28-year-old and his former Manchester United teammate Marcus Rashford took part in a roommates quiz where they answered to different questions. During the game, Lingard told Rashford that his first goal for the Hammers was actually against Tottenham and not his opening goal against Aston Villa. "When I was younger I went to West Ham on trial, when I was nine," Lingard said. "I scored my first goal." Rashford asked who it was against and Lingard said: "Tottenham."   source - football.london / Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
