Jermaine Jenas explains why Tottenham will be much stronger next season

Former Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas says Tottenham will be much stronger next season, stronger than Arsenal and Chelsea. Spurs have finished 2018/19 campaign 4th with 71 points. Without signing any new players in two consecutive transfer windows, Mauricio Pochettino’s side managed to reach Champions League finals after beating Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and Ajax Amsterdam on their way in play-offs. Meanwhile, Arsenal failed to finish the season in Top - 4, while Chelsea got 72 points (3rd place). “Arsenal are not showing any signs of spending from what I am hearing, whereas from Tottenham’s point of view the pure fact they are in the Champions League final will attract good players and, by all accounts, Daniel Levy has said there is money to spend, so they will be much better than they were this year." Jenas told BT Sports (via Football London). Former England national team player mentioned Chelsea's transfer ban as the main reason why Blues will not be much better next season. He also expects teams like Everton, Wolves and Leicester to improve. Tottenham will face Liverpool in Madrid on June 1.
