Jamie Redknapp names two players Newcastle could go for in January transfer window

Jamie Redknapp has named two players Newcastle could sign during the January transfer window. The Magpies will be looking to improve the squad in the upcoming transfer window in order to escape relegation from the Premier League. They are currently sitting in 19th place at the league table with 10 points. Redknapp believes that Manchester United's Jesse Lingard and Conor Coady from Wolves could be potential signings for Eddie Howe's side. “They also have got to get goals as well,” the pundit told Sky Sports. “You can’t just keep relying on Callum Wilson to get you the goals.  “That’s where if you look at the certain individuals that are getting mentioned. Jesse Lingard has had a shout. “If I was Newcastle right now, then he would be my first signing. He’s out-of-contract in the summer, you will get him at a good price and he is the sort of player with a great mentality and goals in him.  “Conor Coady has had a mention, whether he would want to leave Wolves.”
