Jamie Carragher explains why Brendan Rodgers can’t be Manchester United boss

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher believes Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers can never take charge of Manchester United because he managed Liverpool in the past. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under pressure, as his side sitting seventh in the Premier League. Rodgers, who has made a fine start to the campaign with Leicester, touted as a possible replacement for the Norwegian. “Liverpool is out of the question and Manchester United is too because he was Liverpool manager,” Carragher said, as quoted by The Express. “You look at Arsenal and Chelsea in a few years' time, whether Frank stays there or not. Rodgers has a link to Chelsea, being in the youth set-up and the reserves. They're the two jobs you'd look at, maybe international wise as well.”
