James Pearce delivers injury update on Jordan Henderson

  Liverpool reporter James Pearce has issued an injury update on the Reds captain Jordan Henderson. Henderson has been out since their defeat to Everton and it is yet unclear when he will make his return. During this season, the 30-year-old has overall made 28 appearances in which he has scored one goal and provided one assist. Pearce, writing in an Athletic Q&A on Saturday afternoon, offered this update: “Klopp has kept his cards close to his chest but the last I heard the hope was that Henderson would be back for the final few weeks of the season.” Jurgen Klopp's side will face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final second leg on Wednesday.
