James Pearce claims club makes official approach to sign Liverpool man

Benfica have made an official approach to sign Harry Wilson from Liverpool, according to The Atheltic journalist James Pearce. The 24-year-old, who has just returned from his loan spell at Cardiff, has already been linked with the move away from Anfield. Pearce claims the initial talks have broken down with Benfica due to the €15 million asking price, though Liverpool expect the Portuguese club to come back in. Brentford and West Brom are also reported to have an interest in the Reds winger.
