James Milner's important message to Liverpool youngsters

Liverpool beat MK Dons with a 2-0 score yesterday in the Carabao Cup clash and advanced for the next round. James Milner, who opened the score in the 41st minute, has sent a message to the Reds youngsters after an impressive game. "When you look at how good our squad is, for these boys to be anywhere near the first team shows how good they are," said Milner. "It is not easy playing the system we play and the way the manger wants us to play is demanding. "So for these guys to step in and do it, play the way we want to play is tough. But they showed how good they are and the more games they get they will only get better and better. "I think everyone is pushing. Like Curtis [Jones] says, he wants to play in every single game as well. "They're pushing and that is what the senior boys need is competition for places all over the field. We look at the younger guys coming through, and we see them improving all the time. "That's what we want, and hopefully we can help push them and they can keep pushing us."
