"It wasn't vintage": Sky Pundit claims the 22-year-old Arsenal man made an "effective" display vs West Brom

Sky Sports pundit Kevin Phillips thinks Martin Odegaard's performance against West Brom "wasn’t vintage" last night. Arsenal celebrated a  6 - 0 win in the Carabao Cup yesterday, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Nicolas Pepe, Bukayo Saka, and Alexandre Lacazette scoring the winning goals for their side. According to Phillips, Odegaard also had his contribution to Mikel Arteta's latest win. “Don’t underestimate Odegaard’s performance this evening,” he said. “It wasn’t a vintage performance, but it was an effective one. “He is always there. He is that link to the back players and the forwards.”
