"It hurts me to say": Andy Cole tells Ole Gunnar Solskjaer his main problem

Manchester United have a huge amount of talent in the squad, but building those players into a successful team is the hardest part, according to former Red Devils' star Andy Cole. Ole Gunnar Soslkjaer's side are currently sitting in 6th place in the Premier League table, eight points behind the leaders Chelsea. They could cut that gap in case of celebrating a victory over Liverpool tonight. Ahead of the game, Cole has opened up on the United squad, sharing his honest opinion. "I think at the moment, it hurts me to say, I think it's a bit of round holes, square pegs," he told Premier League Productions. "We've got loads of talent, and I mean loads of talent, but how do you try to fit all that talent in?" "I think Manchester United have made really poor decisions in the last five to 10 years that are affecting us now," Sanderson said. "You look at the signing of Donny van de Beek - why did we get him from Ajax if we were never going to play him? Why did we do that? What kind of decision is that? "I don't think he's a bad player but everyone now thinks he's not good enough for Manchester United because he comes on for two minutes, he's not getting any minutes. "What kind of decision is that? Why did we get him? And that goes back to what is the philosophy of what we're trying to do? "Because you can't just get players and throw them in there and expect them to perform. "There has to be a plan of where Sancho's going to play, why did we get Sancho?"
