Inside and outside the pitch: Mohamed Salah's massive impact on Liverpool
According to the study conducted by Immigration Policy Lab (IPL), there has been 18.9 % drop in anti-Muslim hate crimes in Liverpool since Mohamed Salah has joined Merseyside club back in 2017.
Egypt international has scored 32 goals in his first season under Jurgen Klopp to set a new Premier League record of goals scored in a single season.
This season, Salah scored 22 in EPL and also won Golden Boot. He also scored one of two goals against Tottenham during Champions League final to help Reds bring the European prestigious trophy back to Merseyside after 14 years.
Research says that due to showing his positive qualities as a man, Salah has made an impact on locals and according to results, there has been a 5 % increase of the social view, that Islam could be compatible with British values.
Salah has also been recently included on the Time 100 list.
