Maurizio Sarri has revealed that Kepa Arrizabalaga has picked up an injury and could miss Sunday’s Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.
Chelsea’s next match will be played against Malmo. However, their main focus is on Premier League clash against Tottenham.
However, they may be without record signing – and most expensive goalkeeper in history – Kepa, who misses the Malmo game with a hamstring problem.
Asked about any injuries, Sarri revealed at a press conference on Thursday: "We have [Davide] Zappacosta with a fever. We have Pedro with a very strong stomach ache. We also have a problem with Kepa’s hamstring."
Asked if the shot-stopper would be OK to take on Man City, Sarri added: "I hope so."
Kepa has kept11 clean sheets in his 26 appearances since joining the Blues from Athletic in the summer.
