"If I knew that:" Leicester City old player makes surprising Riyad Mahrez transfer claim

Ahmed Musa has revealed he would not have signed for Leicester City if he had known Riyad Mahrez was not going to leave the club that year. The 27-year-old joined the Foxes from CSKA Moscow back in 2016. He has found his playing time limited at King Power Stadium, scoring just 5 goals in 33 appearances in all competitions. In 2018 Nigerian forward leaves Leicester City for Al-Nassr for an undisclosed fee. Musa has opened up on the old days, speaking to Goal: “Before they signed me at Leicester City, they told me Riyad Mahrez was leaving. When I came, we had a lot of wingers at Leicester City, yet, I still got the chance to play. Claudio Ranieri always played me behind Jamie Vardy sometimes I play from the right or left wing. But after they sacked Craig Shakespeare, I don’t know what happened anymore.” Source: Leicestershire Live
