"I'd like to see it happen": Liverpool legend names player he'd love to see Jurgen Klopp sign

Former Liverpool star Steve Nicol has admitted he would love the club to sign Kalidou Koulibaly. The Napoli defender is said to be a target for both Liverpool and Manchester City. According to the Guardian, Liverpool were potentially ahead of City in the race for Koulibaly. Nicol, who was speaking to ESPN on YouTube, is keen to see the Reds wrap up a deal. “If the money is right [it’s a no-brainer]. But clearly, they’re asking for silly money. If it’s silly money it won’t happen, but I’d like to see it happen," said Nicol. “The guy is absolutely in the prime of his career, he’s a great centre-back. Any team on the planet would like to have this guy, but it depends on the money.”
