Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is taking a vested interest in a possible £100million move for Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi, according to the Mirror.
Head coach Maurizio Sarri wants a new striker, who will replace Alvaro Morata.
Icardi, 25, is currently in a contract stalemate with Inter who are keen to extend and improve his deal and, while they are confident of keeping him in January, it could become a bigger issue in the summer.
