"I will back": Paul Merson states his prediction for Leicester City v Watford

Paul Merson has given his prediction for the upcoming Premier League match between Leicester City and Watford. The Foxes are currently 13rd in the league table with 15 points. Meanwhile, The Hornets are in 16th position with 13 points. Both sides will be hoping to have a successful game, however, Merson is backing Brendan Rodgers’s team to celebrate a win in the domestic competition.

“Watford are buzzing at the moment. They’re going to be one of those teams that are hit-and-miss all season,” the pundit said (via Metro UK).

"They have games against Everton and Manchester United where they’re incredible, but they also have games against Arsenal where they don’t do much. "Watford have managed a few victories along the way, and they have enough in their ranks to step up and win relegation battles. "The game that no one expects you to win are the games that keep you afloat. "Leicester are struggling, and the crowd booed them off the pitch this week. "They’re fairly wound up at the moment, but you can count on Brendan Rodgers to get them going. "A lot depends on Youri Tielemans and his form and fitness, but I will back Leicester to win this game."
