'I spoke to my colleagues' - Arsenal set to ‘formalise’ big offer ‘within 48 hours’

Arsenal will reportedly make a serious bid for Dušan Vlahović, as some sources claim. La Nazione have reported that ‘within 48 hours’, the Gunners will be ‘ready to formalise’ the proposal to sign the striker. Speaking on Sky Sports News’ The Transfer Show, Dharmesh Sheth outlined the situation surrounding the Serbian forward and what the player wants.
“Dusan Vlahovic is a name that just won’t go away. We know that Arsenal have got an interest," the Sky journalist said.   "I spoke to my colleagues at Sky in Italy and the feeling there is that Fiorentina would be open to doing a deal in this transfer window, but it seems that the player himself and his representatives are not up for doing a deal in this transfer window – that’s as it stands.   “One issue, though, as far as Vlahovic is concerned, is his next move or whatever it may be – be it staying or going, he wants Champions League football.   "And that’s where there’s a bit of an issue with Arsenal just now because they can’t guarantee that in a January transfer window.   "If they do make it in for next season, then in the summer, Vlahovic will probably make a decision on what club he wants to go to then.”
