“I had tough times”: Thiago makes admission about first Liverpool season

Thiago Alcantara has opened up on his first season at Liverpool claiming it was a difficult one. Former Bayern Munich star struggled at Anfield due to injuries, since joining the Reds last summer. “In terms of the Premier League, I’ve had a year to experience how competitive the game is and the speed of play," the Spain international said when speaking about his first term with Jurgen Klopp's side. "As is always the case when you’re adapting, it has been a good year but at the start I had tough times. I feel that I’ve overcome those now and I’m looking forward to this season.”
