William Saliba attended Marseille's press conference ahead of the new Ligue 1 season.
He has also spoken about his situation at Arsenal.
When Saliba was asked about leaving London and returning to France, he replied that he felt it was the right time to move to England but that he isn’t thinking about that situation.
“I don’t think I left for England too early. I don’t care about all that,” he said.
However, the player confirmed it was his decision to join Marseille.
“I chose OM because it is the right choice. I pushed to come here. We will see what will happen next season.”
The Gunners had reportedly wanted William to join an English club to get more experience for a future at Arsenal, but it didn't work out.
