"I am a different player": Teenager convinced he'll be starting for Liverpool next season

Harvey Elliott has opened up on his future at Liverpool as he is set to return to Anfield during the summer transfer window. The 18-year-old is currently playing in the Championship side Blackburn Rovers. Since making a season-long move, he has recorded six goals and 11assists in 40 Championship games. The Reds have high hopes for Elliott, who could become a natural heir to Mohamed Salah at Anfield. The player himself is confident and ready to sparkle for Jurgen Klopp's side once he returns to the club. “Next season I am going to go back thinking that I can get in the team,” said Elliott. “I have had this experience and feel ready. I have 50 appearances under my belt, which is a lot for a teenager.” “I feel 100 per cent confident I can go in and challenge. I’m looking forward to the fight and to show people I am a different player, and ready to play when called upon."
