Harvey Elliott has opened up on his future at Liverpool as he is set to return to Anfield during the summer transfer window.
The 18-year-old is currently playing in the Championship side Blackburn Rovers. Since making a season-long move, he has recorded six goals and 11assists in 40 Championship games.
The Reds have high hopes for Elliott, who could become a natural heir to Mohamed Salah at Anfield. The player himself is confident and ready to sparkle for Jurgen Klopp's side once he returns to the club.
“Next season I am going to go back thinking that I can get in the team,” said Elliott.
“I have had this experience and feel ready. I have 50 appearances under my belt, which is a lot for a teenager.”
“I feel 100 per cent confident I can go in and challenge. I’m looking forward to the fight and to show people I am a different player, and ready to play when called upon."
