Hugo Lloris speaks out on what Tottenham must do following Son Heung-min injury blow

Tottenham suffered a 0-1 defeat to RB Leipzig in the Champions League round of 16 first leg on Wednesday, February 19. Timo Werner scored the only goal of the game from penalty spot on the 58th minute. After the game, Spurs captain Hugo Lloris spoke out on the defeat and the second leg. "Obviously it is quite clear we are not in the perfect position in this double confrontation, but there is still one leg to play. We are still alive," said Lloris. "If we had conceded a second goal probably our chance would be over, so I think the message is clear, it is to stay positive. "I think the last 20 minutes were very good, we were close to getting a goal. Unfortunately the result is not the best but we have to deal with that and stay positive." Tottenham winger Son Heung-Min was sidelined for the game along with Harry Kane. "We know the context, we know the situation but we don't have to complain," added the captain. "We can't find excuses, we just have to stay professional and stick together. "I think in this moment the best way to act is to act as a team and this is what we are going to try and do until the end of the season. "It is a very difficult season but we have to deal with that, it is not easy for any involved in the club but we are going to give our best until the end. "Every game is a fight, we are still alive, still involved in three competitions, we need to keep believing and give our best." source - Football.London
