Arsenal fans will not be enjoying their Christmas as their favourite club are just four points above the relegation zone at Christmas. It's hard to believe, but if the Gunners go down, their stars would be set to miss out a lot of money. According to the Sun, Arsenal's annual wage bill is around £150million. But should they go down, the majority of their stars would see their salaries slashed by 25 per cent. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is currently their joint-top earner, with a £350,000-a-week deal. But should his side be relegated, this will be slashed to £262.5k. Mesut Ozil also pockets £350k-a-week but his enormous contract finally expires at the end of the season. Summer recruit Willian is their next highest earner at £220k-a-week, which could fall to £165k after relegation. Alexandre Lacazette would see his £182k-a-week turn into £136k, claims the Sun.
