How the Premier League club could line up next season with Philippe Coutinho

Arsenal are set for a huge summer overhaul. According to recent reports, the Gunners have been linked with a move for Barcelona playmaker Philipe Coutinho, who is currently on loan at Bayern Munich. Coutinho joined Barcelona in 2018 from Liverpool, however, he failed to impress at Camp Now and has been sent out on loan. Now, the Catalan giants want to sell Coutinho to find funds for making new transfers. According to Le10sport, Arsenal have made Coutinho one of their top transfer targets. The Gunners are ready to open negotiations with the player's agent, Kia Joorabchian. However, they face competition from Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle United. But how Mikel Arteta could use Coutinho? At Liverpool, the Brazilian was used as both an attacking midfielder and as a left-winger. At Barcelona, he played as a left-winger, while at Bayern Munich he plays as a playmaker. Arteta has often used a 4-2-3-1 formation and Coutinho could be used in the centre as one of the attacking midfielders. Nicolas Pepe and Gabriel Martinelli will play alongside him, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would be leading the attack. Two defensive midfielders could be Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka. David Luiz would then partner William Saliba, Bukayo Saka and Hector Bellerin in the defence. Bern Leno will be the goalkeeper. Arsenal predicted line-up Arsenal (4-2-3-1): Leno; Saka, Luiz, Saliba, Bellerin; Xhaka, Torreira; Martinelli, Coutinho, Pepe; Aubameyang Source: Express

Ray Parlour: “I don’t know about going unbeaten – but I hope we will soon see Arsenal win the league again.”
