Hourihane on Grealish: Hopefully he keeps us up - that is the most important thing for the football club
Aston Villa midfielder Conor Hourihane has given his opinion on Jack Grealish’ possible departure this summer.
Grealish, Villa captain, is having a prolific season in the Premier League. Despite the club's poor results, which left them in the relegation zone before the season was stopped, the 24-years-old is keeping the high standards, scoring 7 goals and providing 6 assists in 26 matches.
Manchester United, Tottenham and Everton were the recent teams that are reportedly interested in signing Grealish.
Hourihane believes his teammate ‘deserves everything he gets’.
"Jack's obviously hugely talented, he's our talisman and he's had a fantastic season. He's been linked with so many clubs, lots of top teams around Europe,” Hourihane told Sky Sports News.
"It's going to be a tough summer and a tough decision for Jack. Hopefully, first and foremost, he keeps us up - that is the most important thing for the football club.
"And then, whatever Jack decides to do, that's up to him. He deserves everything he gets.
"For me, he should be in the England squad as well because he has something that nobody else does, in my opinion." he added.
