"He is the main man"- Wolves fans agree with star being named top player of Nuno era

Joe Edwards has released his top 10 Wolverhampton Wanderers players to have played under Nuno Espirito Santo, and it would have been really tough to please everybody with his own personal opinion. However, it seems he has been able to satisfy many of the fans with his choice. The Wolves correspondent for The Express and Star revealed that he felt Ruben Neves was the star of the show at the Molineux under the Portuguese manager and it appears to be a popular choice. Neves has been a very impressive for the club since joining for a £15.8million fee from Porto in 2017. This season the 23-year-old has 43 appearances for Nuno Espirito Santo's side, with scoring four times and providing two assists. According to WhoScored, Neves has achieved match ratings of 7.20 in his debut Championship campaign, 6.86 and 6.76 in his two Premier League seasons to date. So many Old Gold fans were agree with Edward's choice and took to Twitter to share their thoughts:

Brilliant list Joe👌may have switched Coady & Doc but splitting heirs. Some may think Jimenez should be No1 & yes maybe he should but Neves at only 23yrs old, cost around £16m(bargain)& still got best years ahead of him. He epitomises Wolves with his cool, class & sheer quality🐺

Really can't separate the top 4. I've been going to the Wolves on and off regularly since 1961 and this is far and away the best Wolves side I've seen.
