'He helped me more than my psychologist' - Daniil Medvedev is grateful to Novak Djokovic for his help

Daniil Medveded has hailed Novak Djokovic for being 'more helpful' than his psychologist. Medveded admitted that he had been working with a psychologist during the US Open when he faced the World No. 1. However, the Russian star has found the Serb's words even more inspiringa fter his Olympic loss earlier in the summer.
"During the US Open I worked a lot with a psychologist. She's trying to help me,” he said, per We Love Tennis.   “But Djokovic's words after his defeat at the Olympics helped me more than those of my psychologist, when he said that we could not go back in tennis, that all the defeats at the Olympics had made him stronger for the following tournaments.”
Medvedev got the better of him with a 6-4 6-4 6-4 victory in the US Open final, which was his first Grand Slam title in 3 attempts.   Source - express Follow us on Twitter!
