"He has been outstanding" - Pundit purrs over £18m-rated Wolves ace with "great athleticism"

Former England international Danny Mills has praised Wolverhampton Wanderers wing-back, Matt Doherty. Doherty enjoying his second season in the Premier League. Last season, he scored eight goals and created 10 assists in his 45 games in all competitions for Wolves. When asked if he sees Doherty as one of the Premier League’s best in his position, Mills said: “When you look at all of the plaudits Trent Alexander Arnold is getting… If you look at Doherty, where he has come from and what he has done, he has been outstanding. The way he has played has been absolutely superb. “He has been one of the Wolves’ most consistent players over the last two seasons and he deserves as much praise as he can get. He has got great energy and great athleticism. “Having played as a wing-back in my career, when you enjoy running it gives you a bit of extra freedom that you can make long runs.” This season, he has scored seven goals and provided three assists in all competitions so far. Doherty will be in action again on Saturday, March 7 in a Premier League clash with Brighton. Source: FFC Join us on Telegram!
