Giannis Antetokounmpo has reacted to the MVP debate between him and LeBron James. Whether it’s him or James winning the much-coveted Maurice Podoloff Trophy, Giannis doesn't seem to care.
The Milwaukee superstar talked to the media on Tuesday, during which he addressed the current MVP debate between him and the Los Angeles Lakers star.
“I know there’s going to be a lot of people out there talking about the MVP. That’s not my main focus. Get better. Win games. Help my team play good basketball. Go and try to win the big trophy, the last time we did that was 1971,” the reigning MVP said, per
Ben Golliver of the Washington Post.
The MVP discussions between LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo started again when the NBA decided that the seeding games in Orlando won’t be considered with regards to this year’s individual awards.
