Gary Lineker suggests Manchester City's starlet could be ideal to play for Liverpool

Gary Lineker has suggested that Phil Foden is good enough to play for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. Speaking on Match of the Day: Top 10 podcast on BBC, Lineker claimed that Foden's energy makes the Manchester City starlet be the perfect midfielder for the Reds.

“He is going to be great, isn’t he? I mean, what a footballer," said the former Tottenham Hotspur striker.

Then he added.

 “I think you could put him in that Liverpool team, and he could equally play for a Klopp-kind because he has got that energy.”
