England boss Gareth Southgate has reportedly set the date to hand Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford his first start for his country.
The 27-year-old was called up to the Three Lions squad for the first time last week to take part in their 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
On Thursday night, England beat Hungary 4-0 away from home and Bamford played no part in it.
However, according to the
Daily Mail, Southgate is ready to play the Leeds striker against Andorra on Sunday evening at home.
And Bamford will be hoping to make an impression, considering the fact that the competition for a striker place in the England squad is considerable, with the likes of Danny Ings and Tammy Abraham having been left out.
