Frenkie De Jong's huge release clause revealed after Barcelona transfer switch

Barcelona have beaten PSG and Manchester City to the Ajax ace Frenkie de Jong’s signature. The Catalan club have slapped a huge €400million release clause in De Jong's contract as they look to fend off any potential interest in the future. The release clause is the fourth-highest in the Barcelona squad, with only Lionel Messi (€700m), Sergio Busquets and Samuel Umtiti (both €500m) having higher figures. Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho, both signed for big money last year, also have €400m release clauses.
