Frank Leboeuf refuses to change his stance on Chelsea star Kai Havertz

Frank Leboeuf says, he is yet to be convinced by Chelsea's record-signing Kai Havertz. The German joined the Blues for £72million last summer from Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen. Leboeuf, who won two FA Cups during his time as a player at Chelsea, was a strong critic of Havertz. However, the 21-year-old forward has played every minute of the Blues' last three matches. But speaking after the Champions League last-16 win over Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, Leboeuf says he wants to see much more from the No 29. "There is definitely a better situation for Havertz but I'm still not convinced," Leboeuf told ESPN FC. "I saw him playing last season and he was like 10 times better than he showed today. "So I think I'm right to ask more from that player. Everybody tells me that he needs time to settle, fine by me, as long as the others the the job and again he does better. But sometimes I say 'he's not there, he's not there', sometimes the control, the pass. "Something he would have never missed last season. I want to be patient, I'm not going to say anything more about Havertz, let's see." Havertz has scored just five goals for Chelsea so far, with only one coming in the Premier League.
