Four players set to miss Preston clash, Pep Lijnders confirms

James Milner, Thiago Alcantara, Fabinho and Caoimhin Kelleher are set to miss Liverpool's Carabao Cup match on Wednesday. The Reds will be in action against Preston in the EFL Round of 16. Ahead of the clash, the club's assistant coach Pep Lijnders has provided an injury update on the players. Milner has picked up a hamstring injury and will be out of action until after the international break. Thiago Alcantara will be back next week, while Fabinho is likely to be available for Saturday's Premier League game versus Brighton. As for Naby Keita, there are no fitness issues as the player is "looking good".
