Former Arsenal player Jack Wilshere makes surprise Jose Mourinho and Tottenham admission

Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has praised Jose Mourinho and Tottenham for how they are faring this season as Mourinho's side are currently leading the league table with 20 points. Wilshere has been a free agent since he was released by West Ham in October 2020. "A lot of my family are Tottenham fans and I actually enjoy watching Tottenham play under Jose, especially this season," he said on the ITV Football Football Show podcast with Mark Pougatch and Andros Townsend. "I think Jose is fantastic, a fantastic manager, a fantastic coach and if anyone is going to do it with Tottenham it is going to be Jose, let's be honest. "They do look really strong. They've brought in [Gareth] Bale, they've got Son [Heung-min] and [Harry] Kane up top. That has got to be one of the top three strikers in the league. I feel they have improved massively defensively, which is what they were always going to do under Jose and their midfield is strong as well.
