Five players Tottenham could build around

Tottenham earned a Europa League place after the end of the Premier League season. Jose Mourinho will now look to change his squad in a bid to compete for a Champions League spot next season. Football365 suggest five players that the Portuguese must build his team around. No wonder, the first one is Harry Kane. The club captain scored seven goals in the last eight game of the season. And he is currently one of the best strikers in the world. Another player, who will impress next season is Giovani Lo Celso. He’s not the same kind of player as Christian Eriksen but he can perform a similar and much-needed role in this side. Toby Alderweireld is still better than others, despite recent form. And whether it’s Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez or Japhet Tanganga alongside the Belgian, they are all better players when Alderweireld is near. Steven Bergwijn also expected to be a useful player for Mourinho. He has an eye on the goal. And the fifth one is Japet Tanganga, who is an enormously exciting talent. Tanganga’s chances may come at right-back where he need only be less of a liability than Serge Aurier but nobody has yet nailed down the spot available at centre-back alongside and learning from the great Alderweireld.
