Five Arsenal players "have decided they want to leave the club" this summer

Arsenal staff believe at least five players of the first-team want to leave the club during the summer transfer window, according to reports. The Gunners are sitting in 9th place in the league table, which is their lowest finish since the 1994/95 campaign. They have also been kicked out of the Europa League, which means Mikel Arteta's side will not play in European top competitions next season. Reports suggest that Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke still backs the Spanish manager, despite the club's latest results. Moreover, Arteta will be given the opportunity to improve the squad for the next season by signing new players this summer. According to The Athletic, five players, including Bernd Leno, David Luiz, Hector Bellerin, Granit Xhaka and Willian are likely to be sold as the club will also need extra money through sales of the players.
