FIFA confirm they will investigate Bruno Fernandes’ transfer case

    FIFA have confirmed they will investigate Sampdoria’s claim on financial obligations from Sporting Lisbon for Bruno Fernandes’ move to Manchester United.  The Portuguese international joined Red Devils in January for a €58 mln fee. Sampdoria have told FIFA on April 3, that they should have had 10 % of the transfer fee, which is €4.57 mln.  FIFA spokesperson said (via Sky Sports): "The matter is currently being investigated and consequently we cannot provide further comments." Fernandes has played for Sampdoria in the 2016/17 season, appearing 33 times in official matches and scoring 5 goals.  He then joined Sporting for €7.5 mln.
